Emergency School Closure/Snowline

We would like to confirm the arrangements the school makes if it is necessary to close the school due to bad weather or any other emergency.

If school closure becomes necessary during the time the children are already in school, we would begin to telephone as many parents as possible to ask them to collect their children - but obviously this may take some time.

If overnight conditions mean that school is unable to open at all, we contact the local radio stations and ask them to announce the closure. The radio stations we telephone are:

BBC Coventry and Warwickshire	94.8 and 103.7 FM
Touch FM (previously the Bear)	102.7 FM

We also inform Warwickshire County Council of emergency closures. Parents who have subscribed to the WCC school closure text alert service will receive a free text message informing them of the closure. Go to Warwickshire Web School Closure for more details.
