Welcome to the Friends of Claverdon Primary School web pages where you will find news about the fundraising ideas and events to be held in school. We hope you will find lots of useful information here, if you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact us with feedback.
The Friends are very active at Claverdon Primary School organising events which bring together members of the local community. Money is raised to enable the school to buy a variety of much needed equipment. A full and varied range of functions is organised for both children and parents, many parents offering their help to run these events. These are great fun and a good time is had by all! Any parent or carer who wishes to attend a meeting or help at any organised event is welcome and every offer of help is really useful and very much appreciated.
What is the Friends of Claverdon Primary School?
Mission Statement
We FOCPS, are committed to organising events that are fun and bring together families, staff and the local community whilst raising funds for the benefit of all children at school both now and in the future.
All Parents, Teachers and Teaching Assistants at Claverdon Primary School are automatically members of the Friends (FCPS). The aim of FCPS is to foster better relationships between parents and the schools, to create a partnership which helps the school to listen and to deal with parents' concerns, for parents to learn more about what they can do to help the school and improve their children's education.
We have a committee of volunteers who are are nominated and voted in at the Annual General Meeting in November.
