Claverdon School's Curriculum

Claverdon Primary School Curriculum
At Claverdon School we aim to provide all our children with a hugely positive experience. We will make this possible by offering them rich, exciting and relevant programmes of learning. We believe that all children should be treated as individuals, and are most engaged by learning that develops and stretches them and excites their own imagination. Our children therefore have the chance to learn in a range of different ways that are planned and managed so that every child is supported and challenged.
We provide a curriculum which is unique to our school and which has been devised in consultation with parents, children staff and governors. It is designed to acknowledge the need to fulfil all aspects of each child’s development and is in addition to the National Curriculum.

Our differentiated curriculum covers:

  • enhancements to areas of the National Curriculum
  • development of our children's Personal, Social and Health, confidence, self esteem, team building, responsibility and comunity awareness
  • activities specific to each Year group
