Activities

All children will be encouraged to make independent choices, however there will always be:

Art Attack Station – With a selection of craft and art materials for the children to use. This will be supervised by a member of staff, who will guide and support children, whilst they are engaged in these activities.  Children’s work will be displayed on our special display board, located in the school hall, where parents, children and all who visit the school can admire their work.

Dragon's Den – The Dragon's Den is situated in a quiet activity area, it is supervised by either Mrs Smith or Mrs Parsons. Children can complete their homework independently, or with support if required.  The Dragon's Den is also used as a tuition facility. If there are any areas of the curriculum that you wish your child to brush up on or revise, experienced tuition will be given in both KS1 and KS2.  The Dragon’s Den will provide opportunities for children of all ages and abilities to take part in activities, whilst learning at the same time.

The children have access to computers in the school's ICT suite, including access to the WCC filtered internet. They can complete homework or play appropriate games.
Outdoor Activities

We have lots of outdoor activities in which the children can take part:

  • football
  • tennis
  • cricket
  • skipping
  • skateboards and
  • scooters

all with parental consent and with the correct safety equipment worn.

Our main aim is that children enjoy their time at the club and have fun!
