In Class 4 we study a range of topics including: • History – The Ancient Egyptians and The Tudors • DT – Making pencil cases and alarm systems • Geography - Baricho, a village in Africa • Art – Investigating patterns and sculpting chairs
Each year the children visit New Walk Museum and Art Gallery to ‘Meet the Mummies’, Sulgrave Manor or Aston Hall to take part in a Tudor Activity Day and Ryton Pools Country Park to study animals in a variety of different habitats.
Our class are part of a Community Cohesion project with Birchfield Community School in Aston, Birmingham. As part of the project we develop and work on curricular and non curricular activities with a partner Year 4 class from Birchfield. This involves regular visits to each other’s schools.
Class 4 are also responsible for lost property.
Take a look in our gallery to see what we have been doing in class this term.
