Around our School
The ICT Suite
All classes regularly use our ICT suite to support all areas of the curriculum. Here the children are playing a maths game on number sequences.
The Arts room
At Claverdon School, we have a dedicated space for Art, DT and Music lessons. This room is well resourced and is used by all classes during the year. It has proved especially useful in providing a teaching space for the delivery of on-going, large-scale Art or DT work.
The Hall
The children use the hall for a range of activities including Gymnastics, Dance and Drama. The hall is also used for school assemblies and school meals.
The Library
The library is open for children to borrow books during the week and in silent reading sessions.
The librarians tidy the books in the library. The library is also available for groups and whole classes to use during Literacy Hour or Topic-based lessons.
We have a big selection of books in our Library including Children's Bibles and encyclopedias as well as the normal fiction and non-fiction
